Dear Parents,

Welcome to week 2 of Summer Camp in the City. We can’t wait to see your camper for this upcoming week! The email below contains a TON of important information.  We know it’s a lot, but really appreciate your time to review the information carefully.

Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

If at any time you need to drop off/ pick up your student outside of the standard drop-off time (7:30-9:00) and pick-up time (4:30-5:30), please call the Camp to notify them in advance. Please know that late pick-ups result in a $2 per minute, per child late charge.

    • Every day during pick-up, parents must present their Pickup Pass. Each family will receive their Pickup Passes. Anyone possessing a current Pickup Pass will be authorized to pick up your child from camp. Please be cautious with these passes and only provide them to persons authorized to pick up/drop off your child.

Health and Safety

Your camper’s safety is our biggest priority.  Please read our safety and mitigation procedures carefully.

  • Medical Conditions, Medications, and Health Action Plans:
    • All medication should have been brought to the open house with the pharmacy label still on it and with the Medication Release Form. We must have this document on file in order to administer the designated medication to your camper.  If you do not plan on attending Open House, please make sure that you send in the Medication Release Form completed on the first day that your camper attends.
      • Please note that if your student attends an MCS school, you are still required to complete the Medical Release Form for camp. Medical Release Forms are only valid for one school at a time. You are also responsible for picking up your student’s medication before school ends, as we cannot transfer medication within the school district.  At the end of camp, you are responsible for picking up your student’s medication. Any medications that are left at Camp past 6:00 pm on July 21 will be discarded properly. https://www.marietta-city.org/cms/lib/GA01903590/Centricity/Shared/files/district/health/MCS_AssistancewithMedication.pdf
    • Please be sure to disclose all medical conditions, including but not limited to allergies, in the registration questionnaire. If applicable, please email and bring a copy of your student’s Medical Care Plan to the open house, and email it to the Camp Supervisor at campsupervisors@marietta-city.k12.ga.us to share any important health-related information.
