    During Kids TV Film and Video Production camp, campers learn professional camera, lighting and production techniques from professional filmmakers as they work as a team to bring their story ideas to life. During this one week intensive camp, campers will be grouped into teams to create, film and produce their own short film. Then the teams will work with their instructor to edit their films on the final day. This camp is for kids in rising 4th-rising 9th grade.

    Get ready to rev up your creativity and engineering skills in this hands-on, week-long workshop where you’ll design, build, and race your very own CO₂-powered dragster! Perfect for middle schoolers, this workshop combines science, technology, and fun as you explore the mechanics behind fast-moving cars. Throughout the week, you will: • Master the Basics of Aerodynamics: Learn how shape and size impact speed, and explore design strategies to minimize drag and maximize speed. • Build with Precision: Craft your CO₂ dragster from start to finish, from initial sketches to the final model. You’ll use lightweight materials, specialized tools, and gain hands-on experience with engineering basics. • Test and Tune: Conduct test runs and fine-tune your dragster for optimal performance, making adjustments for balance, weight, and speed. • Race Day!: Compete in an exciting final race to see whose dragster is the fastest! Celebrate your hard work, analyze your results, and gain insight into what makes vehicles fly down the track.   • Exploring Electronics & Microcontroller Magic: A CTAE Camp

    This 5-day summer camp will introduce students to the fascinating world of electronics and microcontroller programming. Through a series of fun, hands-on projects, students will learn the basics of electronics, how to build simple circuits, and how to program the Arduino microcontroller to perform a useful function or solve a problem. By the end of the camp, students will have developed basic skills in circuitry, coding, and problem-solving, and will have created a simple project that they can take with them afterwards to continue their learning. Topics covered will include: Understand Basic Electronics: What are electrons, current, voltage, and resistance? Explore Circuit Components: Learn about resistors, capacitors, LEDs, sensors, and motors. Build Simple Circuits: Create working circuits using a breadboard, wires, and electronic components. Write simple logic coding to solve problems step-by-step. This camp is taught by a CTAE teacher at Marietta High School.
  • Babysitting Safety with CPR/AED Certification

    This 3-day camp will provide you with everything you need to build a successful, fun, and SAFE babysitting business! Participants will earn their CPR/AED, First Aid, and Babysitting certifications. In addition, we will create an extensive list of activities and games to keep children engaged and review important skills (diaper changing, feeding, bedtime, etc.). Babysitters will also discuss professional communication with parents and build a basic business and marketing plan. This course is a must-have for your favorite babysitter!
  • Design Your Space: CAD Furniture-Building- A CTAE Camp

    Join us for an exciting, hands-on workshop where kids can unleash their inner engineer and build real, life-size rides using Infento kits! Throughout the week, you’ll learn the basics of mechanical engineering and design as you work in teams to create and customize your own rideable vehicle. Over the course of the week, your child will • Explore Engineering Fundamentals: Learn the basics of mechanics and engineering as you put together moving parts, understand gear ratios, and see how structure and balance affect stability. • Work in Teams to Design a Rideable Vehicle: Choose from a range of rideable designs like go-karts, scooters, and trikes, and work with your team to customize your ride. • Build and Troubleshoot: Assemble your ride step-by-step, learn to troubleshoot design challenges, and adapt your build for maximum performance. • Test Drive and Celebrate: On the final day, take your vehicle for a test drive, participate in fun challenges, and see what you and your teammates have accomplished together!     It’s time to get active and moving! Come join us for a week of fun competition. We will start each day talking about the importance of the WE and not the Me when being on a team. Kids will get the chance to have fun and grow their skills in a supportive environment with coaches who are encouraging and make games exciting. The entire day will be interactive and focus on working together. We will have traditional sports games such as soccer, basketball, & ultimate frisbee. We will also have fun non-traditional games like capture the flag, Alaskan baseball, and don’t steal the chicken. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity for your little athlete!

    Come flip, tumble, and roll into our interactive tumbling camp! Kids of all abilities will get the chance to learn basic gymnastics skills such as the forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, and handstands. Our instructors are trained to provide the building blocks to help your child learn how to work with their body. Introducing gymnastics to kids early helps build balance, coordination, strength, and confidence. Your child will come home excited and ready to show you their new moves!
