Registration is Now Open! Marietta Community School offers a variety of enrichment classes for students after the school day has ended. These classes are fun, hands-on, and educational. Our enrichment courses are designed to reinforce the skills and knowledge your child needs to become a successful student both inside and outside of the classroom!Enrichment classes are typically 1 hour long, allowing students enough time to explore an interest and develop skills over a 12-week course. As a courtesy, families are charged only half the tuition at the time of registration, and the remaining half of the tuition at 6 weeks. Registration is a 12-week commitment and both payments are required. Spanish Now MondaysSpanish Now ASP is a highly successful vocabulary-based after-school Spanish enrichment program established in 2005. Our program is available to students in grades Pre-K to 5th, offering different classes based on age and ability. The success of our program is due to our continued commitment to small class sizes, our experienced and well-trained staff, and a curriculum which continually introduces the students to new content, vocabulary, and Hispanic culture.Our teachers provide a fun learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop basic language. Our goal is to help children gain an enthusiasm and appreciation for learning Spanish as a second language. Each class incorporates games, songs, writing, and reading in order to generate and maintain the interest of every child.Register Here Tennis Tuesdays Crunch Time Tennis Kids are always focused on staying safe, learning, and having fun while learning the fundamentals of this great sport. Register Here Ballet and Tap (Year-Long)WednesdaysThis is a yearlong ballet and tap class for PK students with the Spirit of Dance. Students will change into their dance clothes after school and then have a full hour of dance instruction at the ELC. Our year will end with a Parent Show on April 24 where dancers will perform on stage in costumes loaned by the dance studio (no recital fees!). Please note that enrollment in this course is a yearlong commitment. Tuition is $69 a month from August-April. .Register Here SSA SoccerThursdaysSSA After School Soccer sessions are for ALL players! The sessions will be for all grades boys and girls no matter the skill level. Our sessions are for players who are looking for extra exercise, players who have never played soccer before, players who play soccer recreationally and also players who play at the academy level. If you sign up to our program your son or daughter will have fun, learn the fundamentals of soccer, develop your skills in soccer but also learn skills for everyday life too.Register Here Alliance Theatre Presents: Drama WorkshopFridaysDance, sing, and act your way to becoming a triple threat! Students will learn proper singing techniques and basic choreography while using creative drama techniques to create and explore musical theater.Register Here Pick-Up Information All students will go straight to their designated pick-up spot at their school once they are dismissed from their classes. When classes end, students will need to be picked up at 3:15 PM. Students who are not picked up by 3:20 will be taken to ASP and charged the daily rate for this program. The Pick-Up Location for Enrichment will be the sidewalk outside of the Front Door of the School located outside of the Main Office. Students will be dismissed from the door as each parent and/or guardian arrives with the designated Pick-Up passes (will be missed on Day 1). If you prefer not to pick up your child, or an emergency arises, you are welcome to use the After School Program for your student.
