Campers will measure, mix, taste, and create their way through recipes from around the world, then share what they made with pride. In this class, students will explore the building blocks of art through hands-on projects and creative challenges. They’ll learn the 7 Elements of Art—line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space—and discover how artists use them to create visual impact. Students will also experiment with the 8 Principles of Design, including balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, rhythm, unity, and proportion. Each week, students will apply these concepts to different media and will develop both their technical skills and creative confidence as young artists.

This is a yearlong ballet and tap class for PK students with the Spirit of Dance. Students will change into their dance clothes after school and then have a full hour of dance instruction at the ELC. Our year will end with a Parent Show on April 23 where dancers will perform on stage in costumes loaned by the dance studio (no recital fees!). Please note that enrollment in this course is a yearlong commitment. Tuition is $69 a month from August-April.
