Students will learn the basics of guitar, including single-line playing, simple chords, strumming, and how to play in a group. Guitars are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

  • Intermediate/Advanced Photography

    This course continues the exploration of photography as a creative medium. Basic knowledge of the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) and the digital camera manual settings are required pre-requisites for this class. This course will build on the basic camera instruction provided in the Intro course, focusing on shooting RAW images, shooting for creativity, setting white balance in camera and in post-processing, different file formats, as well as simple photographic lighting techniques using natural and artificial light sources. This course will also cover more in-depth post-processing techniques and tools using Lightroom and Photoshop. Students will finish this course with a basic portfolio of fully edited and properly exposed images.  Students must have their own DSLR camera and are encouraged to bring their laptop.  It's also recommended to have access to Photoshop and Lightroom.  Don't fret if you don't have access to Photoshop or Lightroom, you'll still have loads of fun! 
  • Introduction to Rhythm Ballroom Dance

    Have you always wanted to learn the Cha Cha or the Rumba?  This class is for you!  Our award-winning teacher will go over each dance in three weeks, with a recap on the last day of class.  The Cha Cha is a fast rhythmic ballroom dance of Latin American origin with a basic pattern of three steps and a shuffle.  The Rumba is a ballroom dance of Cuban origin in 2/4 or 4/4 time with a basic pattern of step-close-step and marked by a delayed transfer of weight and pronounced hip movements.

    Vinyasa yoga is a flowing dynamic sequence of poses linked together with the breath that increases flexibility, strength, and stamina while calming the mind. This course is a mindful flow yoga that will incorporate the universal principles of alignment and pranayama (the breath). Students new to yoga will develop the skills and knowledge to develop yoga into a lifelong practice. More experienced yogis will deepen their understanding of alignment mindfulness and pranayama.
