    Important Notice for ASP/BSP and Camp Staff Members This course is exclusively for ASP/BSP and Camp Staff members. All employees are required by Bright from the Start to hold a CPR and First Aid Certification within the first 30 days of employment. Being CPR certified is a requirement for the position. As a courtesy, we offer this class free of charge for our employees; however, you are welcome to take a class on your own. Participants will receive a 2-year certification upon completion of the class in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid. The material is OSHA certified through the American Safety and Health Institute. Notice for those who are NOT ASP/BSP and Camp Staff Members If you are registering for this course and do not work in the After/Before School Program or Camp Programs, you're welcome to register for the class but you will be required to pay $15 for the physical CPR card. Please be prepared to pay upon check out. Registration and Attendance: Completion Proof: After completing this class, please provide a copy of your certification to your Site Supervisor and the Program Coordinator. It is your responsibility to ensure your supervisor receives a copy, and that it is in the Audit notebook at your ASP/BSP or Camp location. No-Show Fee: While the class is free for ASP/BSP staff member, you must provide a card on file for a $45 no-show/no-call fee. If you do not attend the class without prior notification, your card will be charged this fee.     This CPR Course is offered by the National CPR Foundation. This is an online course that employee's will take on their own. Employees are required to register the course at the link below: https://nationalcprfoundation.com/courses/standard... Employee's are responsible for paying for their own course, and completing it. Once the course is complete employees are responsible for providing the Program Coordinator and their Site Supervsior with a copy of their CPR certification. It is the employees responsibility to make sure their CPR certification remains in compliance.
