Local musician Arie Motschman will be coming by to help teach the camp all about the wonderful world of music! What better way to start the day than stretching and limbering up to some of your favorite songs? Arie will also be explaining many different instruments for all of us, as well as helping the kids to identify instruments they may have never heard before. Kids: are you always cracking up your family at home with your goofy dance moves? Then you’re going to love the Silly Dance Contest, where the only limit is just how outrageous your dance moves can be! Crafts for the day will include making our own musical shakers as well as turning ordinary paper plates into skates for a mobile dance party! Also, making their second appearance of the summer, the fitness company Treigned will be back to teach us new games and sports! Combining fitness with the excitement of discovering a new sports (and with a healthy dose of safety), our students will learn about a different activity that will get them outside and active. One of the most well-rounded weeks of the summer!
