    FAQs If my student is currently registered for the After School Program, do I need to complete a separate registration for register for ASP for Conference Week? YES! Families wishing to have their student attend ASP during their students conference week must be enrolled. Does this affect my students registration for the Before School Program (BSP) during conference week? NO! Your student can continue to attend BSP as normal! My student is going to be attending an Enrichment Camp during Conference Week. Do I need to still register them for ASP for Conference week? When you register for Enrichment Camps for Conference week you will have the option to add ASP at the time of registration. If my student is only going to ASP during Conference Week a few days, will the cost be prorated or will I receive a partial refund? No. In order for us to properly staff for the program the registration is for the entire week. Your welcome to send your student as many few days, that you will need however the cost will remains the same. If my student would like to continue attending ASP after conference week will I need to complete a separate registration? Yes! We are happy to hear your student enjoyed ASP during Conference Week! Traditional ASP/BSP registration closes on July 1st, however, you can apply for our Hardship Registration Process on our website below. How to Register: Below in the "Account Management Section" select Account Management. Once it takes you to a new page select Register a New Contract. You will then be prompted to login to your account and create a registration contract for Conference Week.

  • Before & After School Program

    Mission Statement The mission of the Before and After School Program is to provide a culture where students have a safe, fun environment to engage in various enrichment options. In this environment we encourage students to learn, inspire, and create. We do this to give our families an affordable childcare option and a peace of mind that their student is safe when they attend our programs. Before School Program (BSP) The Before School Program is the perfect option for children in need of early morning supervised activities. Our program includes time for homework, quiet games, and a reading corner. After School Program (ASP) The After School Program offers a variety of learning activities. Activities include games, crafts, technology, and more! There are also plenty of opportunities for Enrichment during this time. Registration Information To participate in the Before School Program (BSP) and/or After School Program (ASP) for the 2025-2026 school year, students must be registered by July 1, 2025. To ensure proper staffing and a safe, high-quality program, we encourage all families to register in advance! Once your student’s registration is approved, your card will be charged the registration fee ($15 for BSP, $25 for ASP, or $40 for both programs). Registration allows your child to attend the program at any time throughout the school year. Families are only charged for the days their child attends the program. Parents are responsible for communicating their child’s transportation/dismissal plan with the school. For Marietta Sixth Grade Academy students we only offer the Before School Program. If you are interested in after care for your MSGA student please review some of the after care options that our community partners provide here. Tuition Cost: When we approve your students registration, your card will be charged the registration fee ($15 for BSP, $25 for ASP, or $40 if you are registering for both programs) at that time. Once you are registered, your child may attend BSP or ASP any time* for the remainder of the school year. *Please remember any same-day transportation changes must be communicated to the school by your school's deadline time! Children cannot attend ASP/BSP until you receive an email that your contract has been approved. As a part of our user agreement, all ASP/BSP accounts must be enrolled in autopay. You are only charged for the days in which your student attends ASP or BSP. ASP for Conference Week Marietta City Schools schedule parent-teacher conferences in October for elementary schools and MCAA. During the week of parent-teacher conferences students are dismissed from school at 1:15pm (2 hours earlier). During conference week, parents who want their children to attend the after-school program must complete a SEPARATE registration specific to Conference Week, with tuition set at $75 for the entire week.   • MCDE 6-Hour In-Car Instruction Program

    BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTION IS CURRENTLY CONDUCTED FROM TWO LOCATIONS: MARIETTA SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY LOCATED AT 340 AVIATION RD, MARIETTA, 30060 BARTOW COLLEGE & CAREER ACADEMY LOCATED AT 738 GRASSDALE RD, CARTERSVILLE, 30121 COST: $389 Parents are not allowed to ride in the Driver's Ed vehicles. Please make any specific instructor requests known when answering the registration question "List special requests or specific instructor below:" The 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction is one-on-one instruction that occurs on the road in an a Driver's Ed DDS-approved vehicle. This instruction is intended for students who possess positive and responsible behaviors, the ability to follow directions, a strong awareness of their surroundings, intact sensory acuity and have had some experience driving a vehicle. As safety and competence dictates, BTW instruction includes Range Work, Residential Driving and Expressway Driving. (If student's instructor determines student is lacking proficiency behind-the-wheel, not all components may be covered to ensure safety to student, instructor and other drivers on road ways. Extra driving sessions are available for purchase as needed.) All Driver’s Education cars are fully insured and equipped with an instructor side brake, extra mirrors and meet the requirements of the GA Department of Driver Services. BTW instruction consists of three 2-hour sessions that are scheduled at the discretion of the student's assigned instructor based on instructor's and student's availability. Upon successful completion of the BTW instruction, student will receive a 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Driver's Ed Certificate of Completion. Certificate will be sent to parent/guardian via email. Cancelled driving appointments result in lost instructional hours and delay the assignment of the remaining students. Driving appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 rescheduling fee.
  • MCDE Driver's License Test Appointments

    DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST REGISTRATION Cost: $95 DESCRIPTION: Students will take the driver's license road test in one of our Driver's Education vehicles. A specially trained Examiner will ride in the vehicle with your student to conduct the test. Prior to the exam, a pre-test conference will offer an overview of what to expect. After the exam, a post-test conference will provide valuable feedback regarding your student's performance. Test as early as this week! Upcoming Test Dates All Tests are conducted from the Marietta/Cobb Driver's Education business office located at 368 Wright Street, Marietta, GA 30064. NOTES: Permits must be emailed to mariettacobbdriversed@marietta-city.org Purchase is non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration is for the test DAY only. Upon receipt of all required documentation, your student will be assigned a specific time slot on the requested day. Road tests are scheduled every 30 minutes between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM and are assigned on a first come, first served basis Students must score at least 75% to pass. There is an additional fee of $30 if an appointment is rescheduled for any reason Testing documentation must be received by 11:59 PM on the Tuesday prior to the test date. If documentation is not received by the deadline, your student's test date may be changed to a future date after the documentation has been received and verified Criteria documentation can be found here. MCDE instructors, examiners, staff and/or representatives cannot at any time, imply, indicate or guarantee a student will receive a passing score on the Road Skills Test. We also offer the Driver's License Test Prep Course. The test prep is a 2.5 hour driving session. This session will focus on reviewing the skills that will be graded on the test. Student's take their road test with MCDE will receive $25 off of a test prep session! (AFTER purchasing the Driver's License Test, you will receive a discount code within your receipt that will need to be used during the registration of the Driver's License Test Prep course to receive the discount.)
  • MCDE Extra Driving Services

    We offer two types of Extra Driving services: These services are intended to provide students who are working on their in-car driving skills further opportunity to drive one-on-one with a professional Driver's Ed Instructor. test test POTENTIAL DISCOUNT!! If you or your student is ready and eligible to take the Driver's License Test, you may be eligible to receive a $25 discount on the purchase of the Test Prep session. To receive this discount, you must FIRST register for an upcoming Driver's License Test with our program. Upon registering for the Driver's License Test, the Test Prep course discount code will be disclosed in the receipt from the purchase of the Driver's License Test. (NOTE: Students ages 16 & 17 must meet certain qualifications to register for the Driver's License Test. Those qualifications can be found here.) Policy Information Student must be 15 years old or older to participate. Student must have a minimum of 20 hours of in-car instruction before participating in the "Extra Behind-the-Wheel Instructional Session". Student must have a minimum of 40 hours of in-car instruction before participating in the "Driver's License Test Prep" session. Requests for session(s) must be done at least 2 weeks prior to the date driving session is requested or the date of the Driver's License Test. All payments for driving services must be processed online prior to scheduling session(s) with an instructor Student must have their Learner's Permit with them during the Driver's License Prep or Extra Behind-the-Wheel Instructional session otherwise, the appointment(s) will be cancelled and result in a $50 Rescheduling fee. Cancelled driving appointments result in lost instructional time and delay the assignment of the remaining students. Driving appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 rescheduling fee. Neither the Test Prep session or the Extra Driving session(s) will lead to a Driver's Ed (Joshua's Law) Completion Certificate. If your student is in need of completing a Driver's Ed (Joshua's Law) Program, please purchase either the 30/6 program or the 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel program. Marietta/Cobb Driver's Ed instructors, Examiners, staff and/or representatives cannot at any time, imply, indicate or guarantee that a student will receive a passing score on the Driver's License Test.

  • Pop-Up Enrichment Classes

    POP-UP Enrichment Classes are one-time special event classes designed to learn a little something new while having a whole lot of fun! Most pop-up classes are only offered once or twice a year. Check back often for fun new classes each season. Adult Classes: Charcuterie, crafting, retirement planning...Grab your friends and join us for one of these evening or weekend events! Family Classes: These classes are intended for children to attend with their favorite grown ups (calling all Grand Pals!). CharBOOterie, Cookie Decorating, Ornament Design and more! Kids Classes: Some classes are a kids only zone (Secret Alert! We love to make holiday gifts and keepsakes for our parents), Drop off your child for fun class while you catch up on errands, holiday shopping, or a trip to the coffee shop!
  • Summer Camp 2025

    Summer Camp in the City is a fun, recreational summer camp for children ages 4-12 (please see age requirement information below). Campers will enjoy field trips, camp carnivals, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and special events. The camp runs from June 2 to July 17, 2025, with daily hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Cost: The cost is $250 per week per child. A $50 non-refundable deposit per week is required at the time of registration. This deposit will NOT be refunded if you cancel your registration. You may either pay the full amount upfront at registration or set up autopay, which will charge the remaining balance on the Tuesday before the camp week. Important Dates: Tuition for the first week of camp is due before April 15, 2025. Refund Policy: We would love if all students who registered for camp would be able to attend however, we do understand if things come up and your student is no longer able to attend. If your student is no longer able to attend camp after registration, please note that the $50 deposit is non-refundable. Additionally, if you cancel after paying the full tuition, you will receive a 50% refund. Camp Hours: Camp is open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Late Pick-up Fees: A fee of $2 per minute will be charged for late pick-ups after 5:30 PM. After three late pick-ups, your child may be removed from the program. Late fees will be charged to the card on file. Age Requirement: Campers must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 to attend. Changes for Summer 2025: No Drop-ins: To ensure proper planning and safety, all campers must be registered by the Tuesday prior to the camp week. Please register early to secure your spot!   • Youth Enrichment Classes

    We are excited to offer Fall and Spring 12-Week Enrichment Courses after school at many of our Elementary Schools. Registration opens in late July for the Fall Term and late December for the Spring Term. We also offer Enrichment Camps during Conference Week in October as well as one day Pop-Up Enrichment Camps in December and Saturdays throughout the year. Check back here for new course offerings! To reduce the financial burden for families, payment for the first half of tuition is due at the time of registration, and payment for the remaining balance will automatically deduct via auto-pay during the sixth week of the class.
