Before & After School ProgramThe mission of the Before & After School Program is to provide a safe, fun environment for children to participate in enrichment and recreational activities. These programs are designed for families in need of early morning and/or late afternoon supervised activities. Our programs include breakfast, snack, supervised homework completion, arts & crafts, enrichment, fun group challenges and more! Children cannot attend ASP/BSP until you receive an email that your contract has been approved. Approval process will take a minimum of 24 hours to process. Registration Fees (once per year, per child) BSP: $15 ASP: $20 BSP Daily Rates Early Learning Center (Pre-K): $5 MCAA & MSGA: $6 All other Elementary Schools: $5 ASP Daily Rates Early Learning Center (Pre-K): $10 MCAA & MSGA: $9 All other Elementary Schools: $10 NEW! BILLING INFORMATION You will be asked to provide a credit card on file upon registration. Your account will only be charged for days in which your child attends BSP/ASP and you will receive an emailed invoice on the first business day after the 1st and 15th of each month. Payment is due five business days after the date of the invoice. All accounts are set up as "auto-pay" and your card will be charged on the day the invoice is due*. *You can always make a payment using a different method of payment anytime prior to the due date to avoid an automatic charge to your card on file.Child Care Program

MCDE 6-Hour In-Car Instruction ProgramALL BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTION IS CURRENTLY CONDUCTED FROM OUR MAIN LOT AT MARIETTA SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY LOCATED AT 340 AVIATION RD, MARIETTA, 30060. COST: $389 The 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction is one-on-one instruction that occurs on the road in an a Driver's Ed DDS-approved vehicle. This instruction is intended for students who possess positive and responsible behaviors, the ability to follow directions, a strong awareness of their surroundings, intact sensory acuity and have had some experience driving a vehicle. As safety and competence dictates, BTW instruction includes Range Work, Residential Driving and Expressway Driving. (If student's instructor determines student is lacking proficiency behind-the-wheel, not all components may be covered to ensure safety to student, instructor and other drivers on road ways. Extra driving sessions are available for purchase as needed.) All Driver’s Education cars are fully insured and equipped with an instructor side brake, extra mirrors and meet the requirements of the GA Department of Driver Services. BTW instruction consists of three 2-hour sessions that are scheduled at the discretion of the student's assigned instructor based on instructor's and student's availability. Upon successful completion of the BTW instruction, student will receive a 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Driver's Ed Certificate of Completion. Certificate will be sent to parent/guardian via email. Cancelled driving appointments result in lost instructional hours and delay the assignment of the remaining students. Driving appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 rescheduling fee.Category

MCDE Driver's License Test PrepDRIVER'S LICENSE TEST PREP: $125 per session This service is available to all teens in the general public as well as, our current students ages 16 - 19. This 2.5 hours in-car experience works to refresh and hone student's driving skills for preparation of the Driver's License Test. (The Road Skills Test is the on-the-road test needed for obtainment of the Driver's License and assesses student's parking maneuvers and general driving skills.) Note: We do not, in any way, guarantee your student will pass the Road Test just by taking the Driver's License Test Prep Course. This in-car course is solely to be used to refresh skills previously learned that will be assessed on the official Driver's License test.Category

Summer Camp 2021Summer Camp in the City is a fun recreational program for students ages 4-14. Campers enjoy field trips, camp carnivals, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and special events. This summer, Summer Camp will run from June 7 to July 23, 2021. Daily camp hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Registration Fee: NEW! We no longer have an upfront registration fee for Summer Camp! The registration fee has been included in each week's tuition rate allowing families to only pay the registration costs for the weeks they plan to attend. Cost: $165 a week (each additional sibling is $150 a week). Payment must be made by the Thursday in advance for the week. You may register for each week and choose to pay when you register, or auto-pay the Thursday before the week of camp. We know this is new. Call us if you have questions! Tuition for the first week of camp in due before May 1st. Refunds: We strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure a space each week at camp. We are unable to issue a refund for camp Hours: Camp is open from 7:00 am to 6:00** pm Monday through Friday. **Late pick-up fees: $2 per minute after 6:00 pm Campers must be four-years-old before June 1 to attend. Lunch: Your child may bring a lunch from home or purchase a lunch at camp. You may purchase a Summer Lunch Pass ($55 for June and $50 for July). The lunch pass will be available for purchase online after May 1. (If you are registered for camp, you will receive an email reminder.) Due to Covid mitigation efforts, cash will not be accepted for lunch at camp. Changes for Summer 2021: Camp for rising Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be held at the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center. Camp for rising 2nd-8th grade (up to 14 years old) will be held at Marietta Middle School. In an effort to help us better plan and staff our camp, and for the safety of our children, we will now require all campers to register by the Thursday of each week for the following week. (No drop-ins). We really don't want you to miss camp- please register early! For your convenience, and for the safety of our students, we will hold a daily camp carpool. You will received details in your orientation email. Should you choose to purchase a lunch each day, you may purchase a "Lunch Pass" online. Passes will be available for purchase after May 1. We will not accept cash for daily lunches. Weekly Field trips: We are working to plan a fun safe summer. As we continue to monitor recommendations regarding Covid, we will finalize field trip plans. As of now, we have one off-site field trip a week scheduled. We will continue to update this page is/when information changes.
