Marietta Community School offers Camp in the City during school breaks to provide students with a safe and fun environment when school is out.  The program allows students to participate in unique activities and themes to keep kids engaged and active. We provide this program to give parents peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for when school is closed.

When school is out, and you still need to work, you can have confidence that your students are having fun in a recreational setting! Holiday Camp provides honest and reliable childcare that your family can depend on!

Holiday Camp is a fun recreational program for students grades PreK-5th grade. Campers enjoy outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and special events.

Registration & Refund Policy 

NEW! Two Convenient Ways to Register for Holiday Camp
We now offer flexible registration options for Holiday Camp to better suit your needs!

  1. Weekly Rate: Register for the entire week of camp at a discounted rate of $250 for a five-day week. This option reserves your student’s seat in the camp for the full week, averaging $50 per day.
  2. Daily Rate: Choose specific days to attend at $65 per day. This option allows you to customize your schedule based on your needs.

Registration Details:

  • Weekly Registration: Registration will remain open until 9:00 AM on the first day of camp.
  • Daily Registration: Registration will remain open until 9:00 AM on the day of camp.

Important Notes:

  • If parents wish to register for multiple non-consecutive days (e.g., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), they must add each desired day to their cart before checking out to ensure they selected the correct days. You will receive an email confirmation for each day you are registered for.
  • Tuition is due at the time of registration. Tuition is non-refundable, so please carefully review your selected days before completing registration.

Additionally, please note a 3.69% card processing fee will be charged at the time of registration, and this fee is also non-refundable.

Camp Information

Late Registration: We take late registrations on a first-come, first-serve basis until the class is full.


Camp Environment: In order for students to be able to attend Holiday Camp and Camp Programs students must be able to be successful independently in a large group recreational environment. Additional support or small group support is not provided to students.

Specialty One Day Camp

Give your child a holiday experience filled with joy, creativity, and new friendships! At our MLK Day Camp, kids will dive into an action-packed day of thrilling flips, tumbles, and exciting crafts that bring out their creative side. From gym time full of energetic fun to hands-on arts and crafts, they’ll come home with memories and unique creations to show off!

Please note: This camp does NOT accept CAPS.

CAPS for Holiday Camp

How to Use CAPS for Holiday Camp:
To utilize CAPS for Holiday Camp, you must first contact CAPS and request a separate scholarship specifically for Holiday Camp. The provider ID number for Holiday Camp is 87966. This scholarship is separate from your ASP/BSP scholarship, so please do not cancel your current scholarship; simply request an additional one for the school breaks.

We can only accept Holiday Camp scholarships with this specific provider number. If the scholarship does not include the correct provider number, it cannot be accepted.

When requesting the scholarship for Holiday Camp, you will need to request either:

  1. A Part-Time Scholarship for $50 (a day)
  2. A Full-Time Scholarship for $250 (a week)

The combination of your Family Fee and the amount CAPS is willing to pay must cover the full cost of camp tuition. If the scholarship does not cover the full amount, you will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of registration.

 

Submission Deadline and Registration:
Once you have secured the correct CAPS scholarship for Holiday Camp, please submit it to Delores Wiley at dwiley@marietta-city.org  no later than two weeks before the camp you wish to register for. Submissions received less than two weeks before camp will be too late, and you will need to pay the full tuition out of pocket.

After submitting your scholarship, call me to register your student over the phone. Please note, this must also be done at least two weeks before camp. During this call, you will need to pay the Family Fee. If there is no Family Fee, you will be required to pay a $35 deposit per student to hold their spot in the camp. Students are expected to attend at least three days during the camp week for which they are registered.
