Registration is Now Open!! Marietta Community School offers a variety of enrichment classes for students after the school day has ended. These classes are fun, hands-on, and educational. Our enrichment courses are designed to reinforce the skills and knowledge your child needs to become a successful student both inside and outside of the classroom!Enrichment classes are typically 1 hour long, allowing students enough time to explore an interest and develop skills over a 12-week course.As a courtesy, families are charged only half the tuition at the time of registration, and the remaining half of the tuition on March 10, 2025. Registration is a 12-week commitment, and both payments are required. Spring 2025 Enrichment January 27-May 2, 2024 Each class will take place from 3:25 PM - 4:25 PM Please be mindful that there will be no Enrichment during Holiday Breaks or Conference Week. Art with Marietta Cobb Museum of ArtMondays Explore all different kinds of dry and wet media like pencil, charcoal, conte crayon, pastels, watercolor, acrylics, and more! In this course, we will discuss the history behind these different mediums, and understand their relevance and purpose today. Your child will come out of this class with a strong understanding of each medium along with a series of warmups and completed artworks in their sketchbooks!Register Here Cheer Your Heart OutTuesdays Students will focus on the fundamentals of cheerleading including cheers, dance, routines, jumps and stunts. Your child will have fun, learn the fundamentals of soccer, and develop skills in soccer and also learn skills for everyday life too! Register Here LEGO® Product Design WorkshopThursdaysHave you ever wondered how the products that you use everyday were invented? The LEGO® Product Design Club will teach you how to bring a product from idea to real-life prototype. Your child will come out of Product Basics training with the ability to design LEGO® sunglasses ,pencil holders, picture frames and iphone holder.Builder Bunch programs combine to provide a platform for kids to be inspired to explore their imagination, all the while having FUN. We are on a mission to provide a platform for kids to LEARN, CREATE and EXPLORE their various interestsRegister Here Pick-Up Information All students will go straight to their designated pick-up spot at their school once they are dismissed from their classes. When classes end, students will need to be picked up 4:25 PM. Students who are not picked up by 4:30 will be taken to ASP and charged the daily rate for this program. The Pick-Up Location for Enrichment will be the Front Door of the School located outside of the Main Office. Students will be dismissed from the door as each parent and/or guardian arrives with the designated Pick-Up passes (will be missed on Day 1). If you prefer not to pick up your child, or an emergency arises, you are welcome to use the After School Program for your student.
