Mission Statement The mission of the Before & After School Program is to provide a safe, fun environment for children to participate in enrichment and recreational activities. These programs are designed for families in need of early morning and/or late afternoon supervised activities. Our programs include afternoon snack, supervised homework competition, arts & crafts, enrichment, fun group challenges and more! Before School Program (BSP) The Before School Program is the perfect option for children in need of early morning supervised activities. Our program includes time for homework, quiet games, and a reading corner. After School Program (ASP) The After School Program offers a variety of learning activities. Activities include games, crafts, technology, and more! There are also plenty of opportunities for Enrichment during this time. REGISTRATION INFORMATION In order for students to attend the After School and Before School Programs, students MUST be registered in advance. In order to properly staff our programs and provide quality programming in the safest environment possible, we kindly request that you register as soon as possible if you anticipate using BSP or ASP at any time during the 2023-2024 school year. Please know that it takes one business day to process your students registration, therefore you must register at least one school day prior to the day in which you would like for your student to attend. When we approve your students registration, your card will be charged the registration fee ($15 for BSP, $20 for ASP, or $35 if you are registering for both programs) at that time. Once you are registered, your child may attend BSP or ASP any time* for the remainder of the school year. *Please remember any same-day transportation changes must be communicated to the school by your school's deadline time! Children cannot attend ASP/BSP until you receive an email that your contract has been approved. Approval process will take a minimum of one business day to process. Registration Fees (once per year, per child) BSP: $15 ASP: $20 BSP Daily Rates ELC and Elementary Schools : $5 MCAA & MSGA: $6 ASP Daily Rates ELC and Elementary Schools: $10 MCAA & MSGA: $9 BILLING INFORMATION When registering your student for BSP/ASP, you will be asked to put a card on file. As a part of our user agreement, all ASP/BSP accounts must be enrolled in autopay. You are only charged for the days in which your student attends ASP or BSP. All ASP/BSP accounts will be invoiced on the 1st and 15th of each month. Payment is due on the 3rd and 17th of each month. The card on file for autopayment will be charged. If you wish to pay a payment with another card, log in before the day the invoice is due, and you can make a payment with a different card. Please know that all invoices will reflect a processing fee. Cash payments will not be accepted at each school due to the safety of our staff. If the card on file fails when autopayment is due or if a card is removed from the autopayment, the account will be subject to a $10 late fee. Please note this $10 charge will be assed to the account the day after the invoice is due. If there is a balance on the account by the 4th or 18th of the month, the Site Supervisor at your student's ASP/BSP location will give you a past due notice. You will also receive an email, and voicemail from our office letting you know the balance must be paid by noon on the 8th and 22nd or your student will be withdrawn from the Program. If the balance remains unpaid by noon on the 8th and 22nd , that will result in that being the last day your student can attend until the account is in compliance, and you have re-registered for the program. Parents are responsible for re-registering their student(s), from the program, after they are removed for non-payment. There is a $45 reinstatement fee per each student. Registration must be completed by noon, for the student to be able to attend the program the following day . BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTION IS CURRENTLY CONDUCTED FROM TWO LOCATIONS: MARIETTA SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY LOCATED AT 340 AVIATION RD, MARIETTA, 30060 BARTOW COLLEGE & CAREER ACADEMY LOCATED AT 738 GRASSDALE RD, CARTERSVILLE, 30121 COST: $389 The 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction is one-on-one instruction that occurs on the road in an a Driver's Ed DDS-approved vehicle. This instruction is intended for students who possess positive and responsible behaviors, the ability to follow directions, a strong awareness of their surroundings, intact sensory acuity and have had some experience driving a vehicle. As safety and competence dictates, BTW instruction includes Range Work, Residential Driving and Expressway Driving. (If student's instructor determines student is lacking proficiency behind-the-wheel, not all components may be covered to ensure safety to student, instructor and other drivers on road ways. Extra driving sessions are available for purchase as needed.) All Driver’s Education cars are fully insured and equipped with an instructor side brake, extra mirrors and meet the requirements of the GA Department of Driver Services. BTW instruction consists of three 2-hour sessions that are scheduled at the discretion of the student's assigned instructor based on instructor's and student's availability. Upon successful completion of the BTW instruction, student will receive a 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Driver's Ed Certificate of Completion. Certificate will be sent to parent/guardian via email. Cancelled driving appointments result in lost instructional hours and delay the assignment of the remaining students. Driving appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 rescheduling fee.

DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST REGISTRATION Cost: $95 Marietta/Cobb Driver's Ed (MCDE) is certified to offer the Driver's License Test to teens and adults in need of obtaining their Driver's License. (Certain instructional requirements may apply based on age.) MCDE's Driver's License Test is a personalized experience that takes approximately one hour to complete. Our Test appointment includes both a pre and post conference with the Examiner and the On-The-Road Test done in an MCDE vehicle. Upon successful completion of the Driver's License Test, the tester will be given a certificate to take with them to any Driver Services location to have the actual license issued. All Tests are conducted from the MCDE business office located at 368 Wright St, Marietta, GA 30064. Notes: Purchase is nonrefundable and non transferable. Registration is for the Test day only. Upon receipt of registration and required documentation, MCDE will assign your student to a specific time slot on the requested day. Road Tests are scheduled in hourly increments between 8:30am - 3:30pm and are assigned first-come, first-served in time-order of available slots. The student must achieve a minimum score of 75% to pass. There is an additional fee of $30 if an appointment is rescheduled for any reason, at any time. Depending on age of tester, the purchaser of the test is required to submit Test Eligibility documentation within 24 hours of registration. If documentation is not received by allotted timeframe, MCDE may be required to change the tester's registration date to a future time when the documentation has been received and can be verified. We offer two types of Extra Driving services: These services are intended to provide students who are working on their in-car driving skills further opportunity to drive one-on-one with a professional Driver's Ed Instructor. test test POTENTIAL DISCOUNT!! If you or your student is ready and eligible to take the Driver's License Test, you may be eligible to receive a $25 discount on the purchase of the Test Prep session. To receive this discount, you must FIRST register for an upcoming Driver's License Test with our program. Upon registering for the Driver's License Test, the Test Prep course discount code will be disclosed in the receipt from the purchase of the Driver's License Test. (NOTE: Students ages 16 & 17 must meet certain qualifications to register for the Driver's License Test. Those qualifications can be found here.) Policy Information Student must be 15 years old or older to participate. Student must have a minimum of 20 hours of in-car instruction before participating in the "Extra Behind-the-Wheel Instructional Session". Student must have a minimum of 40 hours of in-car instruction before participating in the "Driver's License Test Prep" session. Requests for session(s) must be done at least 2 weeks prior to the date driving session is requested or the date of the Driver's License Test. All payments for driving services must be processed online prior to scheduling session(s) with an instructor Student must have their Learner's Permit with them during the Driver's License Prep or Extra Behind-the-Wheel Instructional session otherwise, the appointment(s) will be cancelled and result in a $50 Rescheduling fee. If your student is in need of completing a Driver's Ed (Joshua's Law) Program, please purchase either the 30/6 program or the 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel program. This program provides childcare for children of Marietta City Schools' faculty and staff!

POP-UP Enrichment Classes are one-time special event classes designed to learn a little something new while having a whole lot of fun! Most pop-up classes are only offered once or twice a year. Check back often for fun new classes each season. Adult Classes: Charcuterie, crafting, retirement planning...Grab your friends and join us for one of these evening or weekend events! Family Classes: These classes are intended for children to attend with their favorite grown ups (calling all Grand Pals!). CharBOOterie, Cookie Decorating, Ornament Design and more! Kids Classes: Some classes are a kids only zone (Secret Alert! We love to make holiday gifts and keepsakes for our parents), Drop off your child for fun class while you catch up on errands, holiday shopping, or a trip to the coffee shop!

About Marietta Camp in the City 2024 Marietta Camp in the City is a fun recreational program for students ages 4-12. Campers enjoy field trips, camp carnivals, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and special events. This summer, Summer Camp will run from June 3 to July 18, 2024. Daily camp hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Cost: $225 per week per student. When you register your have the option to pay at the time of registration or autopay the Wednesday before the week of camp. Tuition for the first week of camp in due before May 1st. Refunds: We would love if all students who registered for camp would be able to attend however, we do understand if things come up and your student is no longer able to attend. Regardless of when you cancel a week of summer camp there is a $30 cancellation fee. If you cancel within one week from the start of the week of camp in which you registered for, then you will be responsible for paying 50% of the balance due. Hours: Camp is open from 7:30am to 5:30** pm Monday through Friday. **Late pick-up fees: $2 per minute after 5:30 pm. The card on file will be charged the $2 per minute late pick up fee. After picking up your student late three times, your student will be removed from the program. ** Campers must be five years old by September 1, 2024 to attend. Changes for Summer 2024: Camp Location: Marietta Sixth Grade Academy (340 Aviation Rd SE, Marietta, GA 30060) In an effort to help us better plan and staff our camp, and for the safety of our children, we will now require all campers to register by the Tuesday of each week for the following week. (No drop-ins). We really don't want you to miss camp- please register early! Weekly Field trips: We are working to plan a fun safe summer. We have one off-site field trip a week scheduled. We are excited to offer Fall and Spring 12-Week Enrichment Courses after school at many of our Elementary Schools. Registration opens in late July for the Fall Term and late December for the Spring Term. We also offer Enrichment Camps during Conference Week in October as well as one day Pop-Up Enrichment Camps in December and Saturdays throughout the year. Check back here for new course offerings! To reduce the financial burden for families, payment for the first half of tuition is due at the time of registration, and payment for the remaining balance will automatically deduct via auto-pay during the sixth week of the class.
