Intro to Photography
This course covers basic concepts and practices of digital photography, including understanding and use of the digital camera and its settings. This course will address the basics of the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) as it relates to photographing Portraits, Landscapes, and Action/Motion. Students will become familiar with various composition rules, as well as how to use the exposure triangle to capture creative and quality images using manual mode on their digital camera. This course will also introduce basic image storage and organization concepts as well as basic post-processing techniques using Lightroom and Photoshop. Students must have their own DSLR camera and are encouraged to bring their laptop. It's also recommended to have access to Photoshop and Lightroom. Don't fret if you don't have access to Photoshop or Lightroom, you'll still have loads of fun!
